Ideal hotel with newly remodelled rooms, amazing views especially at sunset. Favourable and fantastic spot close to a multi organisation underground park, Townsville and all the restaurants in Palmer street also Cowboys stadium. Also, in the city centre.

Overall - comfortable and fine place with super-friendly staff at the 24 hour reception desk. Incredible location, right next to Sturt Business Centre. Based close to shops, the marina and The Strand, bars and restaraunts as well as the strand and many restaurants and the main street of Townsville. Outstanding and fabulous meals.

Had a great time on vacation, loved the central location in the city center, and appreciated the stylish decor on the second floor.

The Oaks Gateway on Palmer was better than a 5star hotel we stopped at the staff were wonderful nothing was to much trouble we will be staying there again

It was very close to Plume Street where we had our Wedding Reception.

Although I rang twice, they couldn't guarantee me a 1 o'clock book in for my husband to prepare for our Wedding.

Location was great, staff were very friendly & helpful, hotel room was really nice & comfortable - good size too.

room was very nicely appointed, clean, frindly staff, close to lots of restaurants and some shopping. Walking distance to the Strand which is a nice area to walk along.

workout room did not have very much equipment and it was not in good working condition.

The room I booked was spacious with a microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, and a fridge on the third floor.

The hotel was in a good location very clean and comfortable good size rooms and king beds which you don't allways get.

The 1 bedroom apartment was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped

Well yes, when we checked-in we were given an upgrade to the 1 bedroom apartment, however we would have liked to been told that the bathroom was for disabled persons, had we been told this we would not have taken the upgrade
